Real Life Brides – Brial Diaries: Ashley
It’s been a few weeks since my last update, and I am still working diligently on finding a florist. Right now, The Wedding Warehouse in Glendale and God’s Garden Treasures are in the lead. I will be making a decision next week. My mom and I went to Invitations and More in Scottsdale and ordered our invitations! We are very excited that that part is on its way. We will have plenty of time to make any corrections and guest list changes necessary.
What has been really exciting is finding our wedding favors. Rob and I wanted something unique. Rob is very special to me, and I think that this part of the wedding was somewhere we could be really unique like him. We found a farm in Missouri that was able to do this, and once we finalize our guest list, they will be on their way shortly before the big day! Oreo cookies and little bottles of milk to take home (or to eat in the car on the way home!)

Some new cake ideas…I love the formal cakes and the mini cakes.

Rob worked hard picking a DJ, and we are really excited for her! It is Tracy Keo, of Keo Song (her husband, Scott, and Tracy own it). Keosong.net. She has 7 MILLIION songs on demand.
We are going to be able to pause a bit for wedding planning because we have so many of the major stuff “done” and my thesis is due in 5 weeks! However, in regards to getting in shape, right now we are working on eating healthier. It has been going really well as we cook every night and are in charge of our own ingredients. Next up, jogging with the puppy every day.
The engagement party was a blast! I’ll post pictures next time, as I cannot find the disk right now! Whoops. Rob’s mother has graciously offered to make our flower girl dresses AND my wedding veil. So I am very thankful for that!
