Slice of Heaven: Slice 3 – “Polite” muffins and OJ
Today in the car I thought I would die laughing. Maybe it’s because I’m a father, or maybe just because I’m simple minded… either way it was funny. My son was in the back seat and asked “Mom, when we get home can I have a “polite” muffin?” We both looked at each other and wondered what in the world that could be. Well, my wife came up with the mystery muffin in no time, she has a PhD and Masters in “Wilson Children” and responded back. Do you mean an “English” muffin? “Yes!” came back the reply. I wish I could do things like that… like the bills. What if next time I said “Hey, did the lottery winnings come today?” I think that would put a better spin on life. I’ve included photos from Slice 1 in this gallery but it’s just because they go so well with today’s post. There’s nothing like fresh squeezed OJ made by the grubby fingers of your children. Priceless.

I love solving problems and creating something from nothing.

Haha…oh, Statt…funny kid. I know what he means, though! I just listened to a replay of that English general authority from priesthood session, and he does sound so much more polite! Plus their muffins are delicious. Although I think that once you put as much butter on as I do, they lose all nutritional value.
