Slice of Heaven: Slice4 – Making New Friends
Today I sat in front of my computer a lot. Getting ready for this and updating that with the roll out of our new site and model. My designer just delivered my new logo in color so I’d been spending a lot of time working to get things just right. I have to say that I like the logo, it’s solid, inviting, artistic yet easy to read. Soft in color and inviting. Yep, I like it. I’d been looking forward to going out with Rob and Jessica all day to discuss their big day and see how we could be a part of it.
These two were meant to be together. It seems as if everything over the past few years came together so that these two could meet and find that they were meant to be together. From Rob flipping a coin to detemine where to live and Jessica moving up and down the west coast only to end up in AZ and be set up with Rob by friends and family. I’d have to say they have quite the story to tell, and any story that begins on a first date looking for a lost dog is always a good dinner time story.
So today my slice of heaven comes from getting to know great people and making new friends. Friends come into our lives at the right time and for a specific reason. I’d love to think that all of my Bride’s and Groom’s are my friends, not just clients. I consider them friends, and I hope each one can say after their wedding day has ended…. “Yeah, my friend Chris shot our wedding and it ROCKED!” That’s pay day for me. That’s when it feels good.
I love solving problems and creating something from nothing.
