Slice of Heaven: Slice 13 & 14 Old Friends
Today I had the privilege of seeing our old friends from our days in Washington. Now, these aren’t just any old friends, they are the adopted grandparents of my babies and are basically family. So over the past month I’ve been combining designs and compiling info on the best way to make a “Steady Cam” for my 5D Mark II. The camera takes such amazing video that I felt it was a crying shame not to start using it. So, I made a design, had some parts machined, used some off the shelf items and made my own. Today was a most awesome day. I had the great opportunity to Skype with Kellen and Michael in Texas and make some new friends and then head out with my wife to the AZ bridal show.
